What Sluggo said.
My Dad is a couple of years older than Marge (he turns 78 in a couple of weeks) and still refers to his childhood friends as "so-and-so the dago", or "so-and-so the mick". My Dad and his brothers were the "krauts".
That's the way it was.
Then all the rules got changed and Marge didn't keep up.

Well, I on't deny Marge was the most politically correct person out there, but sometime action speak louder than words. She did a "little" more for the community than give autographs and sell dollar hotdogs.
I can't tell you exactly how Marge thought, but she grew up in a time that the n word was said. Yes, gay's wore earrings. What was the saying....left is right? Times have changed, Marge did not. I guarentee alot of people from her generation would say a lot of the same things. They just own the Cincinnati Reds. I'd LOVE to have a secret microphone in Steinbrenner's office.
