Trav and I have one shelf of one cabinet that holds canned goods, and most of that is tomato products from Italy. The freezer has meat and fish. The refrigerator is for fruit, vegetables and dairy products.
When Erin lived here, she'd look in the kitchen and annouce that there was nothing to eat. Two hours later, Trav would have food fit for a king on the table.
But I'm secretly admitting that I'd kinda like an ice cream maker, just so I could get the flavors without the sugar. One of the things that I liked best about Spain and Boston and Wales is that it was possible to get dessert without having my teeth hurt from the sugar content.
You are so right about processed foods. Ever since I began living as One With the Earth, acting as her loving son, I have imbibed the bounty of her Goodness and benefited from her healthy promise.
This evening as I dine on a delicious meal of marinated roasted cicada, pumpkin blossom salad, I will reflect on the rape of Mother Earth by those who pollute her bounty, tainting the souls of her loving children.
On a side note, it appears my organic wheat harvest will be exceptionally good this year. If anyone would like to engage in a swap with organic foods they have grown, please do respond.
