    just thought i would throw this out there.

    could velcro be used instead of the netting?
    and then sew it to the jacket. make knots at 1 end of the burlap and attach it to the other side of the velcro to make it movable to get adjust your color patterns in the field.

    no, velcro will pick up chaff,dry grass,needle,spur and become so clogged up as to render it useless in time
