? Clarkston avenged last year?s Class A quarterfinal loss to Flint Carman-Ainsworth with a 66-38 win. And this is almost unbelievable, but the Wolves shut out C-A from the start of the second half until there was under five minutes left in the game.

? Utica Ford beat Marysville, 59-48, to give Ford coach Jim Barker the 500th victory of his career.

? 6?6? Michigan-signee Ronald Coleman had 31 points, 10 rebounds as Romulus beat Ypsilanti Lincoln, 76-55.

? Three Rivers point guard SHAWN EARL looks to be vying for all-state honors in Class B. This is already the third time he?s appeared in ?Stars?, making it on the strength of his 16 points, 10 assist, 11 steal, three-quarter performance in a 63-41 win over Plainwell.

? Another great all-around point guard performance game from Utica Eisenower?s 58-54 win over Warren Fitzerald, as Ike senior Robbie Atherton had 18 points, 12 assists, six steals and eight rebounds.

? Junior guard RYAN SIMONSON scored 31 points for Kelloggsville in a 95-91 OT win against Wyoming Lee. Lee senior Marcus Lancaster had 36.

Wilbur had an awsome game Tuesday too against Kalamazoo Central. He had the team high of 10 points and even though they lost, Wil played a great defense. He had three blocks that got the crowd roaring. One of them against Glen Hawkins shot and slammed the ball into the crowd. The other was against D.J. Youngs attempted shot. Wil got a foul on that one but it was worth it.
Friday against Portage Central, Mark had an OUTSTANDING game scoring a whopping 26 points in the second half. Way to go guys!
