Hey guys,
Since the sight was down for 2 days. I just surfed E-bay for any "finds". The usual Chambers stoves listed are in "as is" condition. So finding a restored one was interesting. I did see that the restorer was listed and Todd has him listed on this site too.
What was interesting was the questions asked. Good questions: Pilot light and shipping.
But was disappointed with only one picture.
I'm interested in seeing how this auction goes.

This stove has been on ebay for some time now. The guy selling it sounds like a real **** .

That stove has been there for as long as I've been watching eBay. Weeks or longer. Don't think it's going anywhere.

If you notice he doesn't answer the questions asked. He just talks around the actual question without a response!

Caveat Emptor on this one for sure. I'm leery of any seller who always types in ALL CAPS for some reason. And the location is given as SHAKEDOWN STREET. Doesn't give the auction an air of legitimacy, shall we say?

I asked the seller if there are other pics of the stove; oven, broiler etc...
Since the sight was down for 2 days I was bored and surfed the net.
It's listed under "E-bay Stores" and has no end of auction time. Only "submit best offer".
She's pretty on the outside, but was does the inside look like??
Lowracer,
Hubby enjoys watching your restoration of Mrs. Adams. I show him your pics and he says, "been there, done that" or "I remember having to do that". We fired up the oven last time he was home for the first time and he still has some minor adjustments to make to the pilot. Keep up the good work!!
