Bushfires

There's been quite a few this bushfire season and a number of houses have burnt down..

I've been watching one burn all day while Ive been sitting here working at my computer..I noticed it burning last night about 8.30pm and it was huge then..now its 3 times the size and the billowing smoke cloud is blowing out to sea but along the way its covering most of my city in a blanket of smoke..

Im just hoping that the rain that the weather bureau is predicting will come soon and not be just an empty thunder storm with no moisture in the clouds..

Not that there's anything wrong with that. I think a nephew of mine is Australian. His mother still loves him, inspite of that. I mean, this is the 21st century and people should choose whatever nationality they want. Right? [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

There's a fire burning just north of me and my property is blanketed in smoke..Im amazed that the smoke sensors havent set the alarms off and brought the fire brigade here..

Most of the Aussie blokes are gorgeous..*looks at my husband*..And you'll find us Aussies everywhere..Just start singing Waltzing Matilda in a pub..or just about anywhere where beer is served and soon you'll be surrounded by Aussies..
