Not so much now...thanks to VISA and their zero fraud liability YEAH BABY!!! The trips back and forth to the bank are a pain but at least I won't be held accountable!!!

They stole your number too? Did you buy stuff at those clothing stores?

No, it was one purchase at a computer store in Shanghia? I have no Idea how they got my number either but I caught before it even cleared and immediately changed my number. I need to go back to the bank and file the fraud papers because in order to track it, they had to let it clear first and it did so last night. UF what a pain!!!

Wow. Maybe it's time you went back to the good ole debit card. No one can steal your number and rob you blind, and you can't go into any real kind of debt using it. It's a win-win situation!

Actually NO...debits that are not backed by the "Visa" logo leave you holding the responsibility for the debt and the thieves with access straight into your checking or savings accounts. My card is basically a debit/check card but if not for those 4 little letters I would have had to pay the bill and the overdraft charges that it generated.

you are absolutly correct sis...always use the visa credit part of your check card..visa is the one that takes the hit not the customer..and banks can take up to several months to get your money back into your account if the fraud occured in the debit mode...
