I want to back pack across the states

who wants to go???...what shall I bring....charge cards....my cat....debit card..some cash....my meds...extra shoes and socks...undies...sun screen...crap..I'll need an suv...forget it...anyone want to drive across the states???

That sounds like fun. I would love to sign on, but my vacation schedule has been booked solid for the rest of the year. If you do plan to stop by anywhere in OH, you gots to give me a holler.

I think it would be great to rent a RV for a couple of weeks, if that is possible (...sure as hell couldn't afford to buy one......paying for the gas in one of those guzzlers would be bad enough)

Alex, I have been looking for future jobs in the publication division of big companies...you know in case I decide to pursue writing as opposed to teaching? And a lot of jobs listed are in Cinci. Of course that was like a couple of months ago though. I am still unsure what to do with this degree I am getting.....buuuuuuuuut I will have a week to think about it while I am partying in TEXAS!
Seriously though... I hope mom can go with me out west next spring, and if we are in the Cinci area...hell yeah we would pay a visit!!

Cool Cherry, or Cherrie! I would love to have some visitors and perhaps catch some Red games and all kinds of stuff. This road rip is starting to sound like it'll be fun, and if Bonnie signs on I might be tempted to crash this party. Cherry, in case you don't already know, one of the best known publishers, Scripps Howard, is located right here in Cincy. Maybe you oughta check them out.
