"road kill stew"...
take anything freshly killed by the roadside (before the buzzards step in) wash it thoughly, trim off the bad parts, skin well, cut into chunk size pieces, roll in flour, salt and a little pepper..fry in bacon fat til slighty brown...add in chopped onions and peppers., just cover with water...turn the heat down to med-low, and simmer for three hours...add a little garlic salt if desired...serve on fluffy rice with a nice chilled Chianti...

Mmmm, That Sho do sound good...unfortunatly the skunks are running right now and I live just a few blocks off the highway and on a clear night, it kinda stanks [img]confused.gif[/img]

I was wondering if you could boil the stink away in a bath of tomatoe juice or maybe add a load of garlic & onions, to the polecat stew?
