LOS ANGELES -- Britney Spears entered rehab Tuesday after a bizarre weekend that included shaving her head and getting a new tattoo.
Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, told People magazine's Web site that Spears, 25, had voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed treatment facility.
"We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time," Rudolph was quoted as saying.
The Associated Press was attempting to reach Rudolph and other representatives for Spears.
Since she announced her separation from Kevin Federline in November, Spears, the mother of two young sons, has been seen partying with Paris Hilton, and her appearance has been increasingly sloppy.
On Friday night, Spears grabbed an electrical shaver at a San Fernando Valley salon and shaved her head completely bald.
Video on KABC-TV showed a newly shorn Spears with tiny tattoos on the back of her neck as she sat for a new tattoo ? a pair of red-and-pink lips on her wrist.

At first, I jumped on the "make fun of Britney" bandwagon, but now that I think about it, I'm finding it very sad & tragic. I know how hard it is to have a substance abuse problem and instead of laughing at her, I am going to support her decision to enter Rehab, because I know that the first step is admitting that you have a problem.
I pray that she gets the help, support & love that she needs now.

As annoying as she may be, she does have some serious problems and like you I pray that she is in the right place getting just the help she needs.
I was never a fan of her, neither of Anna but I know a sad soul when I see one,...

Britney has left the rehab after less than 24 hours...its getting close to time that family & friends step in and do something to help her [img]frown.gif[/img]

I agree with you on this one Rog. I think Britney needs to go to and STAY in rehab. It's sorta sad that she's making Mr. Spears look like the normal one. Hopefully she gets the help she needs.
