They are good games but it boiled down to more of a PC list then anything
As I said I'm not discounting those games, and I know their potential for good and evil.
And Abe I could debate about the greatness of BG with you forever, there is a lot of little things in there that you most likely missed and when I eventually got into dnd I came to appreciate them even more. Not only was the original BG amazing, but BG II continued the game and made it even better. There are virtually no games out there that were able to do that. You can use Marrowind as a prime example there or KotOR... KotORII was pretty sorry compared to the first one.
Shampoo is better!
Stoopid circle discussions. Civilization was freakin' awesome!!

Ah, I don't even count those types of flash games as anything more than time sinks and virus/spyware doors... Granted you can pretty much make any nintendo game in flash now, it doesn't really validate it. We were talking about games designed by game companies who designed them for entertainment and most importantly profit.
I know great games can be developed for little cost (take a look at the crazyness done by the NWN community), but thats not really our topic.
As an aside one of my favorite games I've ever played was actually a free community-made module for NWN... I just didn't mention it, besides I'm sure no one here played it.
Angband reminds me to make sure that Abe has played Dwarf Fortress. I'm pretty sure he has. Apparently, it's quite excellent. As such, I must be sure he is aware.
