Apparently staple awesome stuff will remain rare. They want to save mythic for the super special stuff like planeswalkers. However, what if they have a Garruk sneak through?! That would suck.
Yay let's be more like WizKids
*coughyugiohcough* I guess they have figured out that a lot of newbs will have come from other ccg's (see cough)
Also, allow me to introduce ugm's take: UGM's Take

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That's a very idiotic post. WizKids moved to Super Rares just last year. Why?? Because WoTC did it first with Star Wars and D&D minis, and the expectations of the market followed. BTW, because WizKids did it, HeroClix regained the throne as the top selling cmg product on the market. It was in RESPONSE to Wotc.Originally posted by cmorndorf:

They're just trying to whore themselves out more by trying to "force" people to buy more product to get these Mythic Rares. Their logic is totally flawed however. Do they NOT realize the secondary market for cards? They just WANT $30-50 cards in each set to drum up the hype. People in reality are just going to buy these on the secondary market (ebay) or trade for them. The effect on actual product sales by wotc will be minimal at best.
