Sorry to post this question as it really has nothing to do with FI but I noticed reading the post about getting arrested I noticed you guys hit a massive top speed. My dumb question which I should know but don't is do the GSR's have a speed limiter?? Mine is a 99 gsr and just wondering if you guys have reprogrammed your ECU's to take off the limiter or the car doesn't have one to begin with. thanks in advance,
Nick

Haven't noticed a limiter on my '99 GS-R and I've had it up to 145 rather recently.

Nick... don't trust the speedometer over 80mph. It gets really optomistic after that. However, use the tachometer: a GSR in 5th gear goes 20mph for every 1000rpm (4000rpm = 80mph, 5800 = 116). This is accurate to within 1-2mph of your actual speed.

Shit I am glad to hear that a speed limiter is not on these cars!!
And I never expected 140..hehe but was just curious as to how high I can get until a limiter kicked in, and yeah I am getting a JRSC just going 6 psi but that all I will need because I want to do a show and go setup. I got everything I really need just about to run a reliable system now its just the charger and install and I am on my way... BTW just to make sure there is no limiter on the 99's either correct?
