had the hondata on the R and to pass emissions i have to have the R tested. since its 96-up it has to be hooked up to obd2 port. so i hook up the stock ecu and throw in some obd1 240cc injectors and run the car for a few days to get some history in the ecu (no cel). i go to the emissions place, they hook it up and the cel comes on and i fail for running to rich. i dont see how that can be since its the stock ecu and injectors. any ideas?

Is your map setup to see boost? Might want to change it back to stock config just to see if that makes a difference.

Yes, it would.
How many miles did you drive BEFORE you went to the testing center ???
My suggestion would be to drive about 60-80 miles before you go... no more than that.

i've got the JR fuel pump in the car with the stock fpr. would the bigger fuel pump cause the car to run rich?

probably about 30-40. i reset ecu and the cel came back on after about 20 miles. guess i need to swap out fuel pump and see if that whats making it run rich. this is going to get damn anoying to do this every year for emissions.
