itr @ 10psi with hytech 2.5 header/exhaust.
For the people running 10-12psi. what size exhaust are you running on your JRSC setups. Basically what does your exhaust components from head and out consist of.
right now i have a B16 in my CRX
B16 JRSC kit
GSR cams
Buddyclub cam gears
OEM ITR valvetrain
Kamikaze w/2.5" collector
Omni 2.5" straight pipe
Thermal 60mm(2.35") catback
9psi
new setup
All the stuff above added with
B20z
street/strip ported head
11psi
The thing is currently i'm running 2.5"->2.35" exhaust on b16 @ 9psi right now. and i feel that my current setup is choking.
Now with b20vtec and port job @ 11psi i would think more psi, flow and larger displacement would call for bigger exhaust.
Is 3" good or overkill?
so if 3" is fine should i go
Kamikaze 2.75" downpipe/3" catback?
Kamikaze 3" downpipe/3" catback
btw i'm making the custom downpipe

go 2.75to3inch exhaust and make sure it is mandrel bent. I am running 3 inch catback exhaust on my rex with only 9psi but I am also spraying a 50shot tru it.

i think i will make bigger primaries too. once i find out the current size of the kami primaries and use the current head flange and 4-1 merge collector but massage it a bit around the welds.
i was actually thinking of making my own kami style header for a while now. since i welded up a custom turbo manifold before so this shouldn't be hard.
i'll need a lot of time and luck.
