i was looking around for some parts..and found that on http://www.z10eng.com/..in the engine section..there is a damper (z10-ati damper)they say the pulley size is 6 3/8" or 7" diameter outer damper...

then i went to see on my car what size was my crv crank pulley ..(6 1/2")inch...

will the ati damper upgrade my boost...is it good for 499$..any body try it....thanks

Adding boost AND reducing the dangerous harmonic vibrations at high RPM... sounds like a winner.

I'm pretty sure that the 7.x" number is the size of the outer shell, the alternator drive pulley is actually an underdrive size, worst thing you could so for your SC.

ATI and Fluidampr both make street dampers for B-series with stock size pulleys:

are you saying you unorthodox racing non-dampened supercharger pulley is a bad idea, Jim?

Although I have not seen any evidence inside a Honda/Acura engine to positively prove that using a underdrive/lightweight crank pulley is detrimental to the engine's long-term survivability, one simply cannot ignore the possibility of this phenomenon.

In other words... I would not use the two terms BAD and GOOD... and in this case, I would say that the lightweight pulley is GOOD and the Dampened pulley would be BETTER (or BEST).
