BKR7E-11's?!

I bought some from MOSS MOTORS when i got my JRSC, and i think i got RAPED at 2 bucks a plug...

Its been about 20K miles on the BK's now, and i believe its time for NEW ones. Where can i get some?! NO ONE AROUND HERE CARRIES THEM?!

carries all ngk stuff. 2 bucks a plug doesn't sound like a raping. what are they supposed to cost? 50cents?

Would I have a problem (fouling?) in running these plugs in my NA car before doing the JRSC install?

Also, is the BKR7 the coldest plug made? I run NGK BR10's in my Honda CR80 shifter kart engine. In races where there is 1 lap qualifying, I install a BR8 for qualifying since the BR10 has a tendency to foul when driven hard without adequate time to "warm up". The BR8 is a hotter plug and is ideal for short stints (like 1-lap qualifying).

I use the BKR7EVX-11's , the platinum version of the mentioned plug. About $6 apiece.

Intersting as when I spoke to Keith at JR he recommended NGK ZFR7F spark plugs. These are also stock on most Honda marine out board engines so seem to be a bit easier to find or at least in my area.

There is very little difference between the BKR and ZFR plugs. Either one will work well. I will look at my NGK book and see the exact difference when I get home.

So if that is the case then IMO the ZFR's are the better choice as they are less shrouded. The only concern might be if you have cam gears there might be interference but I doubt it.

I believe the ZFR's are more commonmy found at parts stores.
