I will be installing Hondata on my car today and I just have a couple of questions for anyone with some experience in it. I am buying it used off of someone who has an 99' Si. It has been chipped from Tom Payne Tech. and I think it is set up for a 9psi gsr w/ 9:1 cr. Is this true? If so how well will it operate on my car w/ stock psi or with 10psi? If is run 10psi will I need to back off on the timing a little since it's set up for 9psi? Also, is my car gonna run like it's untunned until I can get it tuned for my car? And what should be a good static fuel pressure # for the 440's and the Hondata?

I would appreciate it much to anyone who can shed some light on this for me!

Tom's map ran absolutely bitchin' on my car (2000 Civic Si, JRSC @ 6psi) and required very little adjusting. I think someone here ran it on their GS-R and it was a little lean. You can up your fuel pressure a bit to be safe. His map is very linear all the way up to the 11.2psi boost limit with the stock MAP sensor.

    I'd start with:

    Idle: 40 psi
    Static (0psi/0"): 50 psi

That should be conservatively rich until you get on a dyno. Those pressures are about 5 psi more than I used, but you'll need a little bit more since your motor is bigger.

Do you have an AEM FPR? You need a regulator that will rise 1:1 under boost. It'll be very easy to tell if your stock one does. If your static pressure is 50 psi, and your boost reads 10 psi, your fuel pressure should read 60 psi at max boost.

I do not have an AEM regulator. Do I need it before the install? If I gotta have it then I'll wait before I install the Hondata. I thought you didn't need extra regulators. I was hoping atleast. All I got is the B&M regulator.
Also I have upgrade fuel pump. I have the walbro 317 and also the 347(?). Which should I use?
