Anyway whene does the inline fuel pressure gauge go I thought it when inbetween the Fuel filter and the fuel rail but that is a High pressure line should I cut into it?

Please help quick!!

fuel pressure gauges inside the engine compartment or inside the cab of the car both connect directly to the top of the filter.
i actually have both.you need to buy a fitting that attaches to the top of the fuel filter ,a T fitting if you have both in cab gauge and in engine compartment,or an L fitting if its only inside the engine compartment.
hope this helps.
you'll need a brass fitting,they work the best,and also teflon tape to seal the threads.

i still don't understand. all i have on the top of my fuel filter is the banjo fitting.

First tell us which company and model fuel pressure guage are you trying to install....that info would help alot!

Hmm I have no idea who made it. Its gliserin filled and just has a 1/8 threaded nip on the back, the threaded nip is the same size as the pressure switch form jackson

There is no easy place to install that guage...I would suggest that you buy the B&M fuel pressure guage...it includes a fitting that will allow you to attach the guage to the top of the fuel filter...you can see the fitting in this picture on the bottom right..you cant get this fitting anywhere else except for B&M...these kits are available at most import race shops or online

Yes the B&M fits nicely on top of your fuel filter. Takes about 3 minutes to install.

I actually drill and tap the driver side end of the fuel rails and use a 90 deg elbow. More work, but great results.

Or if you are competent at tapping do a search for a post of mine, it describes how i did it. I just tapped it for the correct size thread and then screwed it into the banjo bolt. Very easy, but you need the right tools, otherwise buy the kit.
