Well, I have friends that run nitrous quite often and never complain about much. To get started get a Walbro pump, one range colder plugs, and don't be retarded about running the nitrous. A little commons sense can go a long way. An ignition is a good piece to get but I don't believe 100% necessary(unless you are going above a 75 shot). Same goes for plug wires and a N20 controller. You can have lots of fun with nitrous as long as you use your head. Most kits come with a WOT switch and a FP cutoff switch. I don't think you really need much more for security. And dont go straight to a 75 shot, get used to the thing and run a 50 shot to start out. Go to a larger jetting when you learn more and get those extra precautionary devices down the road.

Anyone else have any comments? I am going with
fpr + gauge
walbro 255lph
msd 6al
ss blaster coil
modified cap or msd cap
a/f gauge
fuel pressure gauge
vafc
nitrous gauge
Am I missing anything important that I should consider adding to my setup?

Window switch definately!!!...and if you want to retard your timing while spraying you might want to consider a digital 6 instead of the 6al

Man,
You're freakin nuts!
You should have gotten a blower, would have saved you money in the long run.
Talk about getting owned.

Why do they say the biggest shot you can safely run on a stock motor is 75 when people with turbo's and superchargers safely push 100+ HP on stock motors???

Because people probably up the shot higher without doing things such as fuel and ignition and they end up blowing their motors.

Well,
I know it is for other reasons. Not sure if I am on the right track, but figure this, a turbo or supercharger doesnt go from 100 horsepower to 200 horsepower instantaneously. Nitrous does. Its that super instant surge of power that is of concern.
