    Hey,

To be able to run 2 desired boost settings you will need a Electric boost controler such as a Profec B AVC-D or AVC-R, plus you also will need to buy a scrambler switch.

The Tial upgrade is just a better wastgate thats out there.

    Ok,
I guess I don't understand your question what do you mean when you say "can the Tial do this"?

I will try to explain with the information you are giving me, ok. Lets say you have a 9 1/2 psi spring in the Tial wastgate you can run any desired boost level with a electronic boost controller like profec b, because what the boost controller does is just by-pass the release point of the wastgate. So basicly what your wastgate does is just hold pressure up to a certain point like 9 1/2psi and thats when it releases it.

Now to run two different boost levels you need a scrambler switch like I sead before so you can switch on the fly from 7psi to 10psi or whatever.

ok... I think we are getting somewhere.. Here is what i want to do.

Browse on street at like 6 / 7 psi. Then, when i go to the track, bump it up to 9psi.

Will just a boost controlller / scrambler let me do this on the rev hard stage II kit? or do i need a new spring? If i need a new spring which one.

Yep, now we are on the right track...

Well if you are planning on driving it everyday and then sometimes going to the track you don't even need a scrambler.
All you have to do is just set the boost controler to 6 or 7psi for street use and than when you go to the track raise the boost level up to 10psi.

And thats what I do with mine except I have a scrambler which just saves me the hassle of having to raise the boost up and down, this way I just have it set at 7 and 10psi so whenever I feel like 10psi I just hit the button and bum.. its at 10psi.

The reason for me bringing up the scrambler is because of its benefits like you might just be fulling around on the street with somebody and they are beeting you at 7psi so you hit 10 and it might make a difference, of course depending on what you are racing
:-). Also at the track, having the boost set to 7psi when you lanch and switching it to 10 when you are out of 1st gear to preventing tire spin is very helpfull for nice 60ft times and great time slips!

Ps.. the boost controller will definitely work on that turbo kit and there is no need for a different wastgate spring, the only thing the spring does is controll the boost when you don't have a electronic boost controller, and therefore they make different springs 5 1/2, 7 1/2, etc... for just a dead set psi.

    Ok, does that explain it?

Feel free to ask some more if something isn't clear!!

    Yep, thats it.

Here is a link for a reasonably priced Profec B: http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=2526

And for the remote switch this guy will probably be reasonable, here is a link just email him or call him for a price:
