    Question

    What weight oil did you use to break in the engine???? I'm thinking about 10w30.....

    I've always used HD-30, which stands for high detergent(for getting out the metal shavings). 2 friends of mine have both recently used this and another friend of mine used 10-30. So far they are running fine. I think every one has their own preference though.

    I've heard most people like using standard Honda oil for break-in. Figure thats what the engine orginally came with and was broken in with for the intention of lasting 100k+ miles.

    I'll be using Valvoline 10w30 myself
