How would you know if you are starting to have troubles with the blower?

Here are some known common problems:
- Belt slippage => loss of boost at top end (happens to everyone at some point, easily fixed)
- squealing noises from blower drive (may be idler pulley bearing damage, may be belt to pulley contact, the first is easy to fix the latter isn't but is harmless)
- Oil leaking from blower => bearing failure in the end (rare)
- Blower spun too fast => rotors hit case, clearances get too large, boost drops especially at lower revs (thats your own fault!)
- Too much boost run => blower gets too hot, same effect as spinning it too fast (same!)
