I am getting the +12v for the purge cut solenoid, I check my wiring, and reset my ECU. The A/F ratio gauge isn't acting up anymore as far as multiple rich/lean leds at the same time.
BUT, get this ... when I ease into boost like from a part throttle, my setup seems to work pretty good, no pinging, A/F gauge goes to the rich side of stoich all good.
But if from a standing stop or from low speed, if I nail the throttle real fast, my A/F gauge will go to the lean side, (all the way) for an instant(or two), then it will jump up to the rich side of stoich. Is this my JR FMU reacting to slow to the sudden demand for fuel ?
I have check my fuel pressure, at idle it reads around 45psi, I can't adjust it any lower ( I still have the OEM fpr) and under boost it reads a steady 80 to 90 psi. It never dips . Could it be possible to have a lot of fuel pressue and still have a lean condition ? All the while I have never heard any audible pinging under any condition.

That's the JR regulator. It can't supply enough fuel fast enough when you mash the throttle and hit 3-4 psi almost instantly by breaking the bypass. Instant boost means you need instant fuel which isn't possible with the JR setup.

The Cartech can react faster... you should be able to stop this phenomenon.

Anyone know where to buy a pressure-activated switch so I can try this on a turbo setup?

Also would like the switch for a couple other little gizmos I'm trying to put together but I haven't found any affordable adjustable pressure switches so any suggestions would be great.

    Thanks
