I will be running a JRSC on a 99' GSR. with this I have Jacksons BTC & MAP controller, also a full Comptech exhaust. my question is what size RC fuel injectors I should run? I know Hondadata supplies and recomends 440 injectors with their ecu's, but I see people running everything from Venom units to RC 310's. also will larger injectors decrease overall fuel pressure?

A little searching will go a long way in answering your questions. For the base kit, the JR FMU is designed to work with your stock injectors. If you move to larger injectors, you need to somehow compensate for the increased fuel delivery via an adjustable FPR (you'd need a lower rise rate than the JR FMU that is not adjustable)or a standalone system like Hondata to get around the ECU. Otherwise, you'll be dumping way too much fuel. If you're running the stock JRSC, you don't need bigger injectors. You should upgrade your fuel pump though to handle the higher fuel pressures.

my goal is to alieviate the extreme fuel pressures with the stock JRSC setup without decreasing power .

Your descision will be determined by if you are willing to fork out the extra loot for a STAND ALONE type computer for your car.
The main problem you will have with any larger injector is fueling in closed loop mode (idle, part throttle), because your stock ECU has total control over your injectors in these areas and doesn't have the abaility to recognize the change in size.
I would say if you are using the base kit or standard add on's (rising rate regulator, AFC, etc.) then 310's are about the biggest you would want to try and still have a clean idle with no codes. You will still have to run higher then stock pressures but not nearly the 100+ psi you would have to run with the OE's and base JR kit.
I had 370's in and had to go through great trouble to lower idle pressure enough to keep the CE light off but still have enough pressure under boost to not max out the injectors.
If you are going with a Hondata or other stand alone system, then I would follow their reccomendation but 440's seem to be the choice, mainly due to the fact that it is the largest OE style (saturated I think) injector RC makes.

very helpfull, thanks . I do have the Jackson MAP controler which creates a open loop operation , but how limited this is I don't know. I'll have to drop Jackson Racing a line about it.
