Know anyone who makes a good 4" lift kit for the Sub? Also, let me know if you've tried one that was junk.

Anyone have a good set of used door/interior panels, either white or black, or know where NOS/repro's are available?

I have a Rough Country 4" Lift on my 71 GMC Sub. I ordered the kit with rear springs. It was very complete, all of the necessary parts were there. I did need to purchase bolts for the springs to bolt to the frame. I damaged a few and cut a few. You will probably need a rear brake line (I didn't need longer ones for the front). I ordered the line from 4Wheel Parts, it was a Super lift part. The line cost about $35 and the lifts was $690. I would recommend this kit. Good Luck.

Thanks for the info. How's it ride, compared to stock? What size tires are you running with the lift?

I see you've got a stroker in yours, just like mine. It's the only way to go--these things should never have left the factory with the stock 350.

I have a skyjacker softride 4" lift on my 71 burb. Ride is like factory. I was running BFG 35x12.50x15 on 10" deep white spoke wheels. The tires just touched the front corner of the front fenders.

It rides pretty good, not too soft not to hard. It is hard to say how it rides compared to stock....I have never been in a new one....mine was 3 years old when I was born...LOL. Currently I have 32" BFG Mudders but will go to 33" BFG AT soon. Strokers kick ass...the best part was building it myself.
