zc engine basic swap

To anyone who had an engine swap how much would a engine swap cost?

I assume you've got an si, so its not really a big deal.

just FYI, a zc wont pass inspection in cali. JDM engines are illegal.

I'm not an expert on emmissions nor am I in cali. but you could replace an engine as long as the year of the car was older than the engine. It still needs to pass emissions though, but the chances of a JDM engine passing the test is slimmer due to the strong standards in cali.

I'm obviously not in Cali, but this is what I've heard over and over.

What is the "visual"? They look like usdm honda engines to me at least.

At least a B16 JDM and B16 USDM.
It would be cool to know if there is a difference.
