on this sight in the engine section it reads,,The 1.5L DX engine is by no means a performance engine. This engine was made for good gas mileage and reliability which it excels at. There is aftermarket parts available for this engine but do not expect signifficant gains. Changing the fuel injection to a Si injection will increase horsepower and this would probably be the best mod for this engine since the Dual point injection does not respond well to mods.
where can u get a si injection and how much would it cost and is it hard to install,,,how much horsepower difference would it make?

what its talking about is the intake manifold. the Base, and DX models are Duel port injection (only 2 injectors) the Si is mutliport injection (4 injectors) I think that it would give you a few horses, but personally i think it's not worth it. Your best best if you have a 1.5L is to just do an engine swap. That will give you the most horses. Also if you go with the ZC it is really cheap. (only $495 for the enigine)

if you have to keep the 1.5 then you should get zc pistons if you can find them, that up's the compersion alittle bit. my friend has them in his 92 civic sedan dx, and he beat a 2001 civic ex with an intake. oh my friend only has intake, header, and zc pistons
