vibrations?

While driving to my girlfriend's house, my car suddenly started vibrating a lot and the acceleration was really bad. Even when I wasn't moving in neutral it was still vibrating. My dad says it could be bad gas. I don't know... maybe it's my engine? anyone know why my car would start vibrating all of a sudden? I put gas in on thursday so I figured I would have known about it by now. [img]confused.gif[/img]

check your spark plug wires at the distributor..one might have slipped off. if that's not it, pull out a plug and look at it..if it's really white you might have a fuel blockage somewhere, at which point you replace the fuel filter etc.

I just replaced all the spark plugs, distributor cap+rotor, and pvc valve the other day hoping one of those was the problem. However it still vibrates a little, but not as much as before. I think I'll just take it to the mechanic and see what he thinks... it's probably what you said (Ben) about the fuel filter. Hopefully it's not the clutch... [img]confused.gif[/img]
