    ok i replaced my distributor, and the car pulls like a lawnmower. no power, guzzles gas, engine light comes on. everyone has told me i have to time it. how do i do it? 91 civic si hb

    smellme welcome! To check your timing you need a timing gun "it is a light that flashes" you have to line up a line on the timing belf with the line on your engine. "if that makes any sense?!" If the line matches the line on your engine block your timing is correct, if it is off you have to adjust the distributer to change it. This right guys? smile
