Noticed the Red Cap on that resevoir under your hood? I've got a question though...is the pressure switch necessary on the power steering line - does it need to be hooked up to anything else...it has two wires, that I know. Let me know, I just priced a front assembly for my wife's DXs steering rack needs to be replaced.

The only Civic's in the 88-91 arena to get power steering were the Civic EX Coupes and the Civic Wagon's. At least I am almost quite certain this to be true..I've never seen a Civic Hatch with power steering.

sorry Eric, only the EX 4 door 4th Gen got power steering. i guess put it this way, do you think they put power steering stock on the DX before the Si???

but, that's okay having to crank my wheel around keeps me in shape smile

I'm gonna blow you outta the water ami wink

Gonna have to agree with bigb8116 and everyone who has seen power steering in DX hatches. My friend has some sort of one off DX, its like a crusing model i swear lol. It has AC, power steering, its a auto, and...it has the Si passenger side mirror. Its crazy little car, bit on the slow side though lol. So i sold him my old airbox with the hole cutout and the K&N filter, perfomed some of the DX free mods, and he said at least it can now climes hills faster hehe. When i get my thermal he's also gonna buy my muffin shooter hehe.

LOL - I'm with Eric on this one too. All Aussie 4Gs had power steering - hatches and 4 door GLs, 5 door Conchertos and the 4WD 5 door wagon, not to mention the CRX. It wasn't an option, it was standard. I understand it was an option on the JDMs though - my current 4G has it standard too smile

Being RHD would make it easier to fit I guess - damn it must be tight with your LHDs.
