i'm sorry guys but i'm not looking for a new design. i told eric this but he never said anything to any of you. i was in the middle of moving the links and adding flash buttons when eric stared this whole multi-board splitting thing.
if you create some web buttons or some images you'd like to contribute, you can e-mail then to me: [email protected].

ah come'on Wikkid has got some skills. I think that a redesign of this site would awsome. 4thgenerationcivic.com could go big! but thats just my opinion.
This makes me want to get back into webdesign.

first off the site is BIG. it has been completely turned around (in less than 6 months) i got rid of the ads, script errors, and made the site dot.com just to begin with. i also added things like the mailing list, classified, photos section, and EDM section...all while keeping Civic of the month current and answering a whole bunch of e-mails (everyday).
i don't think you realize how BIG the site is. it avg. 225+ (as many as 335) hits a day. the site contains over 13MB (over 100 pages) and has used so far THIS MONTH 4.5GB of bandwidth (going to go well over 5). no free web hosting place wants a site that big.
not to mention i'm not done designing the site. i got the majority of it done and then took a break so i could work on the new sections and info. i'm currently adding a scroll bar on the left so i can move the links off the bottom and add flash buttons.
but it's all good. no matter what i or anyone else does to the site it's never going to be good enough for all ya'll.
man, i wish the "old" site was still up. then maybe some of you would show some appreciation.
ami
ps. i did offer to check out any web buttons or other images anyone wants to send.

My apologies to you Ladynredsi. I wasn't trying to rip on the current site, I honestly just like looking at other's work and design/
I give you much respect for running and maintaining this site. Its not an easy task.
Later,
Joe
