dude, i think you paid a little too much for your b18
. there's a motor yard in manassass VA where you can get a b16 for 1200, prolly a zc for half that.

Well its probably the cheapest upgrade for any 4th gen for those who cant pour the money into a b16 or b18, I know as a student its probably the best upgrade considering for a grand instead of buying an exhaust, intake and header you can just get this motor that bolts straight in no problems. With a gain of 22hp from Si's or in my case 38hp gain for DX's (well not yet), its a no brainer.

Ill give you an idea on the whole ZC thing.
ZC is exteamly cheap and as easy as it gets to install. It drops in with no extra mods. You are going from 70, 92, 108 hp to 130hp under 1,500 bucks or less.
I dont think anyone would argue that there are alot better engines out there but none will be as cheap and easy to install.
Its all abut what you want and what your price range is.
ZC and SOHC VTEC and about the same price to install since they both bolt in, only problem is you have to hook up the vtec in th sohc.
B16 needs mounting bolts, wiring etc and costs more to install but you lso get more HP.
If and when my ZC decides to let go I think Im goig for a LS just because of the ideal turbo aspects of the LS.

Easy to fit, hp increase (I think everyone will say that), responds well to turbocharging (there's one over here putting out 190 front wheel HP), it's JDM, it's cheap. You get more than you will from IHE. Go figure
