    i have a 90 honda civic si hatch and it makes a putting noise at idle and the idle needle goes up and down the 1000 range. Iwant to kno whats wrong. It also putts when i drive it. After awhile it seems to die down alittle and not as bad. Please give me some info!!!!

    i had a problem kinda like that. car used to sputter a lot when cold. I found out it was my timing being off.
