yeah....$500 is a lil cheap i would think. most *good* shops around me charge ~800-1000...but then again it's usually for a hydro tranny. i guess a cable would be a little cheaper.

Actually, $500 is ONLY the conversion from automatic to manual. Doesn't included engine or anything else. so what do you think?

That's a smoking deal, if u do enough research u'll find out that it's a shitload of work, mounts arn't the same, just overall a pain in the ass. I think that shop will realize they're in over their head once they start the swap, but if that's what they quoted u do it up!

Do you guys know any shop where they would convert my automatic to stick in Southern California? One shop quoted me $500 for the conversion. I think it's too much. how much is that usually?

500 is really good in my book! I paid 3,500 for a ZC swap and conversion to manual! That is with all the parts as well including engine
