How much does the stock OEM flywheel weigh?? Cause there is a Clutch Master 7lb. flywheel on group buy center. Is 7lbs. light??

7 lbs. for the clutchmasters is right...I kinda think stock is like 20 some so that's a nice improvement...wish I had the $$ for one of those right now

i'm not sure how much the d16a6 flywheels weight..but here's some numbers for comparison..a stock b16 is about 18 lbs..an integra type r fly is about 15 lbs..and most chromoly flys are between 9-12 lbs, depending on how thick they are. 7 lbs is DAMN light..

i've heard that 7lbs is too light. i have been advised to pick up a '91 CRX SI flywheel (more surface area) and have it lightened to 10lbs.

i have the 91 si 11 lb. ACT flywheel on my 89 si. i'm very happy with it... and like stated before unless you can shift really really fast 7lbs. prolly too light. that would be my opinion.
