I was looking at those on ebay, $160 shipped is a great price for a ss header compared to the over $400 for the dc sports. Make sure to post some post install pics and opinions for us.

DAMN IT! i totally forgot to do a how to. I was just so excited about my first modd. As far as performance gains, i can tell a lost a bit of torque, and gained very minimal gains in diff parts of the rpm range. the sol runs smoother though oddly haha. So far right now though, i cant say i'm satisfied with it, but this may because of my restrictive OEM cat and exhaust. I still cant seem to find any obx twin loop mufflers anymore. Any help with that?

ya, i didnt see them on ebay either, there are still the cheapie, which i do not recommend, and the Netami, which is really nice too. I say go for the Netami. It actually looks cleaner than my OBX, I just havent heard much about Netami. Of course i hear nothing but bad about OBX.

i havn't heard a DAMN thing about netami. The exhaust tip looks a bit diff than the obx the last time i checked and it wasn't appealing to me. but it kills me to know i could be getting the same thing for $100 shipped instead of the netami's what..$140? do you still have any kind of contact with the ebay seller that you purchased the muffler from?

On my old SR20 powered NX2000 and sentra se-r, I had a header on each of them. The NX had a $120 pacesetter, and the sentra had the dyno proven best SR20 Hotshot gen 4 header, which cost me over $400. they both performed the same way, a little louder and minimal gains. A header just doesnt do much on a 4 cylinder. Now on a big block V8 or even V6 you will get decent gains. On our cars it is a small piece to the power puzzle, alone it is minimal, but pieced together with other mods it will pay off later, but not much. just my 2 cents.

So you're saying that after the install the car performs worse than stock? But this is due to the stock exhaust set up? Sorry to hear about the problems. Was the replacement suposed to increase performance or only look good?

dan, you are a life saver, imma try and see if i can find the guy/girl when i get a chance. Headers are expected to make you lose some torque in the lower end due to lower back pressure but you do gain hp in higher rpms is what the general idea is. this is suppose to go for exhaust and high flow cats as well. you wont truely benifit from these modds from our small displacement engines until some more serious numbers are being put down..... regardless though, the headers are a very nice shiny gold right now..they just simply scream sex when i look at then lol.
