fenders

i just bought some z3 fenders. (in the pic)
and they don't exactly fit right. they are gel coated fiberglass.
is there a way to putty them to fit?
and is it a strenuous job?
i did color match and paint them but can sand down again.

I'm sorry to say that none of the fiberglass fenders, hoods I've seen fit right because of the thickness of the material used to give it the strength to hold it together right. That is probably the one most main reason folks complain about them. Sure you can sand/rework them some, but they probably will never be a perfect fit, sorry to say.

eh...i'm sure you can take them to a shop and have the "perfect" them but it wouldn't even be worth the time let alone the money at that point.
