i go on boards like soah and pojo which has alot of ppl 13 and over but if you say "fuck" on ppojo they ban you for life. you can't mention anything sex related on those boards. so i thought. granaboard is the most mature board ever. nobody is banned for saying bad things(with the exeption of N)and you have freedom of speech. who agrees?

I'm glad you think that I always wanted to make this an ejoyable place.

As for N: In the past, I had to warn him because of repeated swearing kind of against my will. The board was hosted at Hottub.org, and the owners of Hottub, who in the past had kindly offered to host the board, now wanted to impose their rules to the board, one of which was no swearing. The situation turned worse when they also wanted to disallow going offtopic in threads and talking bad about GameFAQs (WTF?). I felt they were kind of taking the board out of my hands, and that I was no longer in control of it. The new rules were against everyone's will, so I objected, and they disabled (not deleted) the board. I think they wanted me to apologize, accept their rules, and force them on you all, but I did just the opposite. For the sake of the board, and that of its members enjoying it, I moved the board to a free host which doesn't seem to care for this. Since then, my original Granaboard rules were back, and the board has been much more relaxed and enjoyable. I also removed N's warning state from my list - which means it's as if nothing had ever happened, because it was really unfair and against the Granaboard basic principles. The Granaboard was meant to be different from GameFAQs, where you couldn't say "poop" or go offtopic; an open board with rules everyone likes.

The problem with pojo is that while they get a lot of spammers (Nevan!), they also have corrupt or lazy Mods and young children as well. I doubt many people would expect a pokemon/yu gi oh message board to allow swearing with young children. Basicly, you can't really stay there once you've grown up some, dealing with more adult problems and need other people your age/IQ to chat to. I still enjoy pokemon, but i don't go pojo because there just no more for it to offer me.

Here, we just have one misguided mod (all round nice guy though) and a surprisingly unactive mod. And a few unneeded rules. But overall, Granaboard is the best there is.

I'd rather say we have a mod who doesn't always agree with OCB, and a mod who has a RealLife (TM).

    I feel so... special...

I keep forgetting, what was your name on Tojo?

Oh yea, OCB, we're planning Omega Spam. (100 accounts hitting one after another.)

When I attacked at the old hottub I was mad at Frizzy (fack I forgot his name), because he was a bitch.

I have respect for this board.

Tojo, it's there for the spammin'.

I go to MTG News boards sometimes too and I am well behaved there.

    IRT Wiseman: Potato, Potatoe.

Edit: Explaination of joke. This uses the fact that there are two different pronacations of the word Potato. po-TAR-toe and po-TA-toe, both are correct and really comes down to accent and choice. This is similar with Tomato, too-MAY-toe and too-MAR-toe. :P!

I agree with Melfice. Before I came here, all the other boards I used to reside in where all kind of vicious. I mean, it'd be nice for a while and then...BAM! A war starts going on between the most popular people of that board.

Then I came here...and well, everyone is NICE here. We've had no serious problems...well, as long as I've been here =)
