sry i cant be on here as much as i want to lol eventhough i got net back at my house this hostboards place still makes errors occur on internet explorer for some reason >_>;;; ill try to be on more often >< but hey mel hows the fixin of my drawing going? ^_^

Uploaded! is an almost 400 Kb Zip file. I know is hell big, but it contains an BMP file that has no compression, and that is the best to work with it! ^^

BTW, to work you should use a lossless format, like BMP, but can also use the PNG format which is compressed and saves a lot of space in your HD (337 KB PNG vs 4312 KB BMP). Even if you compress it in ZIP format to post it somewhere, you can save some KBs because the PNG format compresses images better than ZIP. PNG supports all sorts of color depths, and an alpha channel. However, if you are working with a picture, or some image which is less prone to traditional compression (because it's full of colors and has few identical pixels in a row), you may consider the fantastic JPEG2000 format (lossless version), if your software supports it, which may compress your image further without changing any pixel. PNG is usually better for drawings, but not for scans. Your pic can be compressed to 316 KB in lossless JP2 (vs. 337 KB PNG, 357 KB Zipped BMP, and 4312 KB BMP). Of course, if you're using layers or vectors, you should use your software's format (i.e. PSD in Photoshop, PSP in Paint Shop Pro).

I'll talk about the JPEG2000 format in some thread some day... it's really interesting. Let's say a 10 KB JP2 file looks way better than the same image in a 20+ KB JPG file, and a 2 KB JP2 file looks better than a 15 KB JPG file. Also, JP2 files look brutally better than JPG files if using the same size, and the lossless JP2 files are smaller than the lossless JPG files. It's a pity this amazing format isn't still popular. Maybe because browsers don't implement it, maybe becuase they are getting paid by ISPs.
