The board has recovered its past activity, which is very good, but we are worried about its future. We have felt the board is becoming less interesting for the majority of our members because of the random insanity that plagues all threads, and the generalized lack of topic everywhere; and this will hurt the board's future.

Do not misunderstand this. I have not forgotten the reason why the Granaboard exists, why we left other boards in the past, and our offtopic origins. This is not to say offtopic is bad. But this is certainly going too far, and is detrimental to our board.

To protect the present and future health of the board, to ensure its continuity, and to make it attractive for new and old people, we must all make a small effort.

Therefore,

<font color="red"><font size="4">We urge everybody to <u>STAY ONTOPIC</u>, especially (but not necessarily) in [!OT] marked threads.</font>

→ If you want to discuss something different, PLEASE CREATE A NEW THREAD and post a link to it in the old thread.
→ If the discussion smoothly leads to a different topic, PLEASE CREATE A NEW THREAD as soon as you notice (otherwise, it will remain unnoticed by people not interested in the original topic).
→ If you need to say something to a particular member, PLEASE CREATE A NEW THREAD or use the private messaging system if you feel it is private or completely uninteresting for the rest of the board.
→ If you want to post random insanity, do so in the appropiate threads.
→ If you want to post seriously, do NOT use the random insanity threads.</font>

Please respect these basic rules, and read this post as many times as necessary.
