Definitely, Kel will probably Detect magic (Much to his surprise) over the pile and inform those about him of what 'glows' and what doesn't. Identification is beyond his means, but he'd still second finding someone who can if Lir can't.
Having defeated the guards at the gate, Allie picked the lock and found that a portcullis was lowered on the opposite side. While the strength of the party was not great enough to make the iron bars rise, the petite form of the halfling, after stripping herself of bulk, was able to slip between the bars.
A little reconnaissance revealed a guard room, armory and barracks to the left and a guarded portcullis control room to the right. With some mystical aid by the sorcerer, the dancing lights lured 2 goblins from the control room, a diversion to get Allie into it to face the remaining goblin one on one.
The party attempted to take down the two others as one fired upon them and the opther went for help.
In a short time, the portcullis was raised and 11 goblins were taken down. The party raced to find Allie just as she took down the last one. Short bows, daggers, short swords and arrows were ripe for the picking to anyone who wanted them, and the party moved on to the next room, the door opposite the main gate.
Four Wolfhound guard dogs ceased their play and fighting over scraps and bones to get to work. They did their job admirably, attacking the party and wounding a couple of the characters. While some were remorseful over slaying the dogs, the obstacle was passed and Allie lead the group up the stone stairs of the circular tower chamber.
After first listening at the door, the rogue determined that the boy was in danger, and the door was opened. Magic Missiles struck the halfling instantly. Magic Missiles and sword play and a bit of psionics managed to take down the goblin officer and the dwarven henchman. The Wizard, having suffered enough, and his spells not very affective against his adversarial peers, turned invisible. An instant later, lirinor's arrow struck the invisible form, before the wizard had time to escape. He fell to the ground, bleeding to death and unconscious, the spell broken.
You returned to the inn, finding yourselves sitting around a table, piled high with booty. That loot consisted of:
A Quarterstaff
Masterwork Light Crossbow
Light crossbow
30 bolts total in 2 quiver
5 potions
2 scrolls
wand
2 daggers
2 silvered daggers
Masterwork Battleaxe
Masterwork short sword
Masterwork studded leather (small)
Splint mail
Large Mithral Shield
Backpack with some standard items (rope, flask, flint and steel, waterskin, whetsone)
zircon
rhodochrosite
golden yellow topaz
400 falcons
The party got 5,200 xp each (or maybe it was 5,000 - I forgot, and someone should correct this for future reference...since you all leveled up, you would have it in your notes)
To date, 2 of you have sent me level upgrades. I hope the others will soon, as we will be playing these characters again next Friday.

Allie's willing to try out her new Read Magic spell, and all that recent studying she's done to try to decrypt the scrolls and potion labels.
Lirinor is now able to cast Identify; it's a bit pricey (100 gp in materials per use) but pretty reliable.
His alchemy skill could also be used to determine what the potions are; he'd either have to set up his own lab or see if if can borrow one that is already taking up space in the Inn.

Lirinor can't afford the 500 gp to set up a lab quite yet.
However, he is willing to cast identify if the party is willing to pay the 100 gp cost per item out of proceeds.
One of the first things we should do is try to get the potions, scrolls and the wand identified, if the various spellcasters are unable to do so themselves....This party is quite well versed in magic.
Allie would suggest the items not wanted, such as the small sized armor, and the gems be sold with the funds added to the party treasure to be used to identify those items that are wanted. The gold alone would pay for 4 such identifications, and the armor possibly a 5th.
Kel will eye the Battle Axe curiously, and admit to his interest in learning more of it. He'd be happy to chip in part of his share to help it and other things be looked over if the rest of the group would like.
