The party's encounter ended when the half orc refused to fight and turned his back on the group. The group's feelings being divided, you all left.

Caela discovered a cave that lead underground, with Ogdell reading the magic writing on the wall indicating a crypt involving magic or magic users.

After Avera getting cold feet for a few minutes, the group ventured down a long tunnel, only to have a portcullis slam down behind them.

They came to double bronze doors at a dead end passage lit by magical torches. Neanthyl and Caela discovered that the torches were levels and got the doors open.

The party was attacked by 5 wights, which had managed to drain one level from Neanthyl before being slain.

Then the Wraith arrived. It was harder to destroy, but destroyed it was.

When last we left our heroes they were figuring out how to take the wealth of loot with limited carrying capacity.

Avera, Caela, Marren, Neanthyl, Ogdell and Ravensong each earned 930 xp

3,000 gold cap means each of the six characters has 500 GP apiece.

The art is divided as follows:

Ravensong took the Mithril necklace.
Oghdel took the emerald topped staff.
Avera gets the Black Velvet mask with citrines.
Neathyl gets the Eyepatch with mock eye of sapphire and moonstones.
Marren gets the cloth of gold vestments.
Caela gets the gold and topaz bottle stopper in a blue bottle.

The art pieces are of varying value. Trades can be worked out here or in character. We probably won't know, unless someone takes the time to appraise the items, their worth unless and until we sell them in Tindale, or CFI.

We're sure none of them are magical?

As Vilarneseh will not have any attendance issues for the forseeable future, he'll be happy to appraise items when the opportunity arises.

There's no indication that the items are magical. THe majority of the items with perhaps the exceptions of the necklace Ravensong took, and the staff Ogdell has are listed under E-Tools as simply 'art' as in lightweight means to collect cash. ...now it's possible some of the items are magical, but again an appraisal is needed to be certain.

Wanted to thank you for the mithril necklace. Raven has NEVER taken anything nor shown an interest in anything before. She never takes magic, and there have been magical boots, cloaks and weapons given out, rings and bracers etc. So this was appreciated.

The mithril necklace is just that, a necklace. No magic to it at all

When and if he gets the chance, and the party rests, Ogdell will be happy to detect magic on the items. He can even identify them, if one proves to be magical, but that is a time consuming endeavor, time which the party may not have currently.

Even if none are magical, he'll point out that they seem to be of quality work that some wizard more powerful than he could possibly use them in magic item creation.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">No doubt he'll do so in far more syllables than you just did . . . did I mention I like Ogdell a whole lot? Just what I would expect a wizard to be!

And of course Ogdell would get a withering glance from the barbarian suggesting that her necklace be ruined in such a manner
