Sorry, this is like my personal callout day (of course, the callout is somewhat impotent when you can look up top and see someone isn't logged...)....


I was to go golfing this afternoon with my Prez and VP out at Cinco Ranch (which is your neck of the woods, no?). Now, it is raining down here inside the loop, and I think they are going to bail, but I called out there and it is allegedly only misting in Katy.

So, it may very well be that I am going to have a friend go out there with me to honor our tee time (12:32), and we would have some space in the group.....

I am at work in spring. Wish I could, but anything is golfable. The drive in sucked! But when I left at 7:30 Katy was in good shape weatherwise.

If I had gone down Clay Rd I could have given you a better idea on how many people are out golfing but I made the mistake of enjoying the Katy Freeway parking lot this morning. Rain never seems to stop the blue hairs from golfing on Clay Road though.

I don't want to hear Clay Road. I've been playing indoor soccer lately at a facility at Clay and Hwy 6. Last week we had a 7pm game (I work down at Montrose and 59 and live in the Galleria area), so I thought I'd be clever and take San Felipe to the Beltway, Beltway to Clay, and cruise on in with no problem.

Took me an hour and a half, I left at 6, luckily they didn't start the game until about 7:20 so I didn't miss much. Clay Rd was a frigging parking lot, took me almost 45 minutes to get from the Beltway to 6.

Feh.

Construction and wrong time of day. I usually take Clay to the beltway in the mornings if I have to be at work early, but I have a partner that lives at 10 and 610 that I pick up on most days. Clay will be MUCH better when the construction is done.
