Haysi girls lose to Clintwood tonight. I think they will miss Teri Edwards more than most people think.

I agree somewhat, but Haysi's girls will still be strong, and will be the head over favorite in the BDD and at least 2nd best in the Region.

What does honaker have back this year besides Ashley Mullins?

I think Ashley is the only starter we have back. Ashley's sister, Billee Jo is also a capable player. Other than that, Honaker is kind of short handed this year. We had to move up 3 or 4 freshmen over about 4 or 5 sophomores.

Oh yeah, I saw Andrew Bostic sitting on the bench at the VHS game so he musta decided to play, but he wasn't dressed. I guess he will have to sit out a while until he makes up his missed practices. It will be good having him on the team.

Bostic will help them when he gets back and missing a few games early won't hurt them. The real season doesn't start until the district games begin.

Comments about Haysi being overrated is kinda stupid. They lost the first game, one bad game and people are throwing in the towel. I knew Clintwood would suprise some people, Mullins is one helluva ball player. But lets wait and see who shows up around the 25th of February.

From what I hear, Honaker has lost their desire to play. This information come from a former orange tiger. Evidently Shortridge is about to ruin Ashley Mullins. She officially hates basketball from what I hear.

Clintwood also beat Twin Valley last night. Mullins dropped 22 and held Maxwell to 5, think about that.

I never said Haysi wasn't any good or that their season was a total loss I'm just saying they were overrated meaning they aren't as good as people think.

Um, I am sure that losing one game to a usually excellent Clintwood team is nothing to talk about. I watched teh game and Clintwood played spectacular. Haysi, played horrible. Its kinda like Honaker and Haysi the last couple of years in football. Just because one team lost doesn't mean the other was overrated or under. The other team just showed up and played the best they possibly could. The same Haysi team that lost to clintwood has put up about 70 points the last couple of games, so they are going to be alright.

Okay basketballjesus obviously doesnt know what he is talking about. Haysi not being as good as people think is a statement of ignorance. People think? Dude how much press coverage has Haysi gotten this year for WINNING THE REGION last year? The Lady Tigers have gotten ZERO attention, its almost as if JJ Kelly WON last year. You need to stop running your mouth. Say what you want when someone takes region from them, not the first game of the season. Oh and by the way, Haysi is supposed to get some looks this year, afterall...they were the '04 Region D champs.
