I think its a little of both. They have played some pretty bad teams and probably won't have much to show against Honaker and Haysi, but they have improved and if they make the playoffs could win a game as long as they don't have to play Burton the first round.

Hurley seems like they can usually give Haysi a pretty good run, but can't do the same against Honaker. I've always wondered why that was?

Yes, Unaka, Ervington, Montcalm, and Thomas Walker is a soft schedule, but Montcalm is 4-1 (only loss is to Hurley and they have never won more than 3 games in a season in 11 years) so I think it is safe to say they are better than usual walkover fare.
However, no team Hurley faces will be on the same level as Haysi nor Honaker. And that will probably be the biggest difference maker.

Well, that is def. true about calling in the scores wrong. Those ppl are crazy. Last year we beat them like 38-6 and they called the score in as if they won big.

Yeah I saw that last year when WCYB reported Hurley had beat Honaker like 37 to 8 or something and I was like what???
Its been a very long time since Hurley played Haysi a close game...you can rest assured on that, they may be able to do it this year though.
