Where has Air-ran been? This board has been no fun without him on here posting. He hasn't posted for like a week. Has Gaylord Fauker been that busy that he hasn't had time to post? I mean I'm not trying to get any trouble started with ya Air I just miss ya man.

Some people work that post on here, try it sometime man you might learn to appreciate it. I have not posted because i have nothing to say, Haysi slapped Honaker right in the mouth Saturday and they won a well deserved game, for the good guys that do post on here that are Honaker fans congrats on a fine season and for the ones that ran their mouth about expectaitons of this Honaker team that were just ignorant i need say nothing else than "Hey maybe next year." Maybe not too. Good luck to Haysi Saturday dont know if i will come to that or not may go see Richlands play but really am looking forward to Basketball season. This weekend for me could not have been better in sports, you look at it VT kicks the ever living hell out of UVGay and GT knock off Miami, UT loses to Vandy [img]biggrin.gif[/img] [img]biggrin.gif[/img] and Honaker gets sent home packing by Haysi, plus Minnesota stops Green Bay.......so all in all i am just happy that things are working out well. There you go have a nice day and like i said i am not a Nurse bro but hell i would take their pay anyday.

Good post Air-Ran. I?m kind of tickled with the outcome of a lot of games this past weekend. The Honaker-Haysi game, I guess I?m eating my crow. I picked Honaker in a close one! Congrads to Haysi on a big win, and to Honaker on having a good season. Oh, Hell ya.. The HOKIES killed UVGay!! Lol.. NICE? lol Ah.. Those pro games don?t do much for me. I?ll watch college bball before I watch pro football. I will pull for the Steelers because of Heath, but that?s the extent of it for me.
Yes, bball is starting. I?m hearing TV is at Castlewood tonight in a scrimmage. I haven?t heard of anyone else scrimmaging yet. Maybe some of the posters on here could post something about their teams.

Yeah i would like to go see that scrimmage but do not have a time on the start and all, plus i have a funeral to attend one of my co workers Dad passed away so guess i will miss that but it is the least of importance i guess that this point. Plus a scrimmage and all really doesnt do much in showing what is going on with most teams.

I like college basketball but it just does not compare to pro football...The NFL is pretty much the best thing going right now and all other sports leagues at all levels could learn from them(just look at the t.v. ratings)...college basketball needs to wake up and move the 3 point line back and little and it would make their game much more exciting instead of people only being interested when march roles around and they get to break out the brackets.

Yeah that 3 point line is kinda sad. I mean kids in 4-12 grades shoot the darn thing and they think it is something big for a D1 college athlete to do it? Give me a break, put it back to 20ft plus and then you did something, yeah Reddick would still hit it and i hate him and Duke but there are some of the others that would struggle a little more than the current arch. Kids like Lee Milkahonky from Duke and some of the other kids around the college scene would not be so prolific as they are now. Like i said the shooters will still knock it down but the guys that are stretching their range at the current mark would be forced to change there style a little. SOme of the kids from UCONN and Texas would defintely be hurtin if it were moved back. A big example is the kid from Syracuse the other night who had a shoot out for a while with Humphery from Florida, the kid from 'Cuse hit i think 3 or 4 in a row from right at the line but the Florida kid hit his 3 in a row from NBA range, then when the kid from 'Cuse was being pushed out a little farther he quit hitting and the Humphery kid kept on pouring it in from deep, so i think the real 3 point shooters would be exposed and vise versa.

You should have seen the Humphery play in High School. He played in the Arby's a few years back with Maryville and he put on a show. He was by far the best player on the floor and if he hadn't gotten sick probably would have been the MVP.

Yeah i saw him play one game and he lit some guys up out there and had a sick crossover also. Came back the next night to see him agian and he was out with the intestinal flu.
I think Wheeler won it that year but i may be wrong on that all i know is they pressed like hell and were as fast a group of kids that i have ever seen from start to finish it did not stop.
