Yeah Haysi never won a Clinch Valley District title. I knew it was pretty much Lebanon and Castlewood dominating back then because dad had told me as much but that was before my day so I don't have any results unless I was to get out one of his old annuals. Thanks for the info though on the CVD champions...thats good knowledge to have. How many Hogoheegee district titles did Honaker win HTF?

Honaker never won the Hogo title outright. In '79 we shared the title with Castlewood, but got the playoff spot because we beat Castlewood.

I believe Hurley and Garden were also in the CVD but I'm not sure....also not sure about Whitewood or Council.

Honaker, Lebanon, Castlewood, St. Paul, Twin Springs, Pocahontas, Haysi, Whitewood, Garden, Hurley, and Council were all in the CVD. Wasn't Haysi in the LPD like back in the 50s and 60s?

Yes Haysi was one of the original members of the LPD when it was first created.
