Which offense do you prefer to watch in the Region?

Misdirection/Option - St. Paul, J.J. Kelly, Ervinton (mostly ran using a wing t formation)

Air It Out - Haysi, Castlewood, Powell Valley (using various shotgun, I, and one back formations)

You know what's coming, but can you stop it? - Gate City, Honaker, Appalachia (using various I formation, an occasional shotgun, and power formations such as T, Wishbone, and Power I)

Most teams in the Region change yearly but a lot of these teams I listed excluding Powell Valley have mainly stayed the same the past few years.

I like running the option out of the Power I. There's nothing better than a stacked backfield and one wideout. Run nothing but sweeps, speed options, and fullback off tackle. Throw a few dives in there too.

I like the more air it out offense, stay in the shotgun, run traps, speed options, and no huddle. that is the most exciting offense for me..sorta like what Northwestern did a few years back and what Clemson does! there is nothing better..

I am more of a misdirection/option type guy. Wing T owns me it is unstoppable when ran right.

when you named power teams you left out Rye Cove, double tight power I down your throat. Actually Honaker would not be a power team they are shotgun spread oriented!

yes honaker does spread it out some. they had to saturday againist PV because they couldnt power it down you thoart..but if they can that is all they will do, but in my opinion they should stay shotgun and spread it out i mean they have the athletes to do with Tyler Ball, Tyler Patrick, and DJ Hall. and yes the cove does power down your thoart and have been successful this year doing that.

Honaker is a power running team. But they do spread it out occasionally much like Appy does.

Gentlemen, gentlemen, gentlemen, the only time Honaker powered it was when they played the likes of battle, castlewood, haysi, twin valley, and probably Grayson County, the spread helped them against lebanon, rye Cove, and appy, and when they went back to the "power" they fumbled and lost. Sorry guys,if someone brings the beef honaker brings the spread!!!!!!!!!! And saturday they'd better bring a whole bunch!!!!!!!!!!
