You guys started this spittin' contest by going on about how undeserving RC is. Fact of the matter is, we like being Div 2 about as much as Kerry enjoyed being number 2 after the vote. Again, quit crying about us...we were in control of our own destiny, just as you were, and we took care of business when it counted. You should have done the same.
I don't think we are complaining about the fact of who took care of business because Haysi didn't. We are talking about how Honaker and Haysi could win the Cumberland every year so the Cove and the Cumberland isn't as wonderful as everyone tries to convince themselves
How can you say that both of you would win the CD every year?So what good did it do you?It just kills you all to say congrats dont it.

In 2001, Honaker had one of its worst seasons in years. We went 4-6 losing to Rural Retreat, Grayson Co., Lebanon, Haysi, Rye Cove, and Appalachia. As I recall, in 2001, RC had one of its best teams in a while. Wow, RC has beaten us once in like 6 years. Congrats.
This was just to the post that said you could win the CD every year. I was just stating that in some years you would not. I was not disrespecting Honaker or Haysi in any way.
In some years Haysi might not win but Honaker will. In other years Honaker might not win but Haysi will. Have Rye Cove ever beat Honaker and Haysi in the same year? If not then technically one of us would win the CD every year.
I understand what you are saying, I wasn't knocking RC, the point I was trying to make was Haysi is more deserving than RC to make it because Haysi would be more competitive. I mean, look at how bad Haysi beat RC. I mean, I think RC has a good team, they played a good game against Honaker, but Honaker didn't exactly play its best game all year that night either. At least next year, RC will be D1 again, so hopefully this won't come up. The same thing is going on in Region C this year. You can't honestly say Grayson Co. deserves to be in the playoffs over George Wythe. Grayson Co. is probably one of the worst D2 teams in Region C, and play in the worst district in Region C. They were absolutely destroyed be their out of district opponents in the regular season. But of course like Honaker last year, and Haysi this year, if GW had played a tougher out of district schedule they would have made the playoffs. There is no excuse for a good team like GW to play Fort Chiswell, Grayson Co. and to a certain extent this year, Radford, even though they are just having a down year.
You have not owned us every year. I cannot remember the year but I believe it was 98 or 99 we beat Haysi and in 2001 I believe we beat Honaker.

2001 RC 27 Honaker 0. I know this is in the past but I just wanted to let you know that the BDD is no stronger than the CD.
